Decorating from A-Z (M is for Man Cave)
The “MAN CAVE“. Do men really need a place to escape to? Should we find a place for them to have their own private haven in the basement, closet, or garage? I vote yes! Man caves have become the hang out place for guys to watch the game, boxing matches, have drinks with the fellas etc. but what about when they’re grumpy? I like the idea that they can go to their cave! Doesn’t it give us ladies a chance to have our time? I am so cool with the whole Man cave concept. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for the ladies having their private haven to retreat to also, but that’s for another blog post.
Man Caves come in all shapes, sizes and themes but one thing they all have in common is loads of testosterone.
So If you’re planning a Man Cave for your guy here are some things to consider:
Large flat screen Tv
Flat screen TV usually the bigger it is the better they like it
Theatre Seating
Recliners or Theatre Seating
Really loud Speakers
Stereo and speakers that will cause hearing impairment soon, really soon….seriously, why does it have to be so loud. Maybe that’s just in my house 🙁
Projector
DVD player/Projector/computer
compact refrigerator
Refrigerator
Gaming Systems
Gaming systems like Wii, Playstation, rock band etc. I thought these were supposed to be for the kids?

Multi Purpose room
This a great multi purpose room. These days since many households are downsizing. The Multi-purpose room is becoming popular again. So move over guys your room may have to be shared. Keeping a neutral palette may be just the things for a more broad appeal.
Garage MANCAVE
Sometimes the only available space is in the garage. But if it looks this nice who cares!
This is our MANCAVE at home, When my husband is missing in action, we know just where to find him.
