Decorating from A-Z (P is for Pillows)
Pillows are the Go-to accessory for a quick and affordable way to spruce up around your home.
Take a look at a few tips for inspiration.
1. Add patterned pillows to a tired sofa or chair. Try a mix of textures for interest.

2. Change out your pillows with each season just to keep a fresh perspective.
3. Decorate with one or two themed pillows for popular holidays like Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter for example.
4. How about lots of pillows on your bed for color, comfort and interest? I keep at least 7 on mine at all times. They look incredibly inviting when I enter the room.
5. If your pillows are plain, try embellishing them with trims, tassels, ribbons etc.
7. Try matching pillow shams with a Bed runner for a coordinated and intentional look
7. Pillows are designed to fit all design styles, so choose the perfect fit for your mood or theme. There’s Formal, Traditional, Funky, Fun, Asian, Moroccan, Casual, Pet-friendly, Elegant, Fluffy, Smooth, Satin, Silk, Embroidered, Ruffled, and the list goes on and on. If you can’t find what you’re looking for; there’s a fabric out there for you to create your own.
I love this image from jpm design’s blog post. The gray and yellow really work well together and the room exudes a casual elegance that I’m fond of. Take a look.
