Decorating with mixed prints Yes or No? & 2012 Spring Color predictions are on the radar

Can you believe it?  It seems like the Spring of 2011 was just last week and here we are predicting the hot new colors for Spring 2012.

So would it be fair to say that we can expect to see these colors in interior design?   Absolutely!  I’m sure that new fabrics and accessories in these exciting new colors are already in production.

Mixed prints add texture and style for trendy looks and added pizzaz.  

 This Fall try bringing in something that you haven’t tried before.  

Stretch your comfort zone just a bit and grab a few mixed prints. Try a large scale print with a small one or a tapestry with a stripe…..the results?…..beautiful!

 Speaking of stretching your comfort zone.  I just bought a pair of crazy eyeglasses with zebra arms.  They were absolutely a stretch for me but fun,fun, fun.  Sure my husband looks at me kinda crazy (I don’t think he likes them) but I Love them !!
