Happy Spring!
Spring has finally arrived. It’s time for florals, bright colors, and fun patterns. Here are 6 things that I’m currently craving and would love to be see in my home. I’m wanting anything and everything found in a bright pattern. After the past three months of dreary winter, my space could use a revival.
1. Having flowers in your home instantly breathes life into a space. I love this bouquet because it uses many types and colors of flowers. The simple glass vase remains subtle to let all those colors shine.
2. I’m not usually a big fan of polka dots but these curtains make me want to give them a second chance. Switching up your curtains can do a lot for a room. Find a colorful set in a thin fabric. The thin fabric will let in the spring sunshine and won’t make the pattern or color seem too heavy in the space.
3. I envision this chair as a statement piece in my bedroom. I would love to use it when I read or for just visual appeal. A great spring project could be refurbishing a chair with an unexpected pop of color or pattern.
4. I’m convinced this yellow pillow would always brighten up my day if I had it in my home. If you’re not looking to add much color to a room, add a pillow or two. This pillow comes from one of our vendors, D. V. KAP Home,
5. This bowl could be used in a kitchen, but I don’t think I could keep this pretty thing in a cabinet. Find a creative use for it. I love storing jewelry, like bracelets and rings, in dainty bowls in my room. If you’re spring cleaning, pick up some unique bowls at a thrift store to use for new storage.
6. I love the abstract print on this lamp and the muted shade. It also comes in green or orange but I love the simplicity and calmness of the blue. This lamp can be found through Ydp ( Arteriors Home).
