Grab 3 great tips for creating a kid-friendly space.

A play room is the perfect place for your child’s imagination to run wild and while you are creating it, it’s a great time for yours to go crazy too. If your home allows it, giving your child a space to call their own outside of their bedroom, is a great way to teach them responsibility and pride in their possessions. Here are some tips to create the perfect space.
Theme:
Pick a theme that represents your child’s interests, but also one that they will be able to grow into. Ask your child what their dream room would be. Do they love princesses or lions? What are their favorite colors? What do they want to be when they grow up? Use their interests to inspire their creativity.

Dual Functions:
Because the room is being built for fun, remember to use things that will be fun yet functional. Chalkboard paint is great for drawing pictures and learning math problems.

Containers are not only for storage, but also for teaching children how to organize and take care of their things.Strategic Spaces:
Blocking out different sections of a room for different purposes, is a great way to incorporate a multi purpose space.  Have a corner for studying, a space for playing video games, and a space for crafts.
