That’s Pinteresting! Favorite images of the week

Each week I explore various Pinterest boards to find some noteworthy images. This week I fell victim to colorful decor. With spring in full bloom and summer right around the corner, I couldn’t help but gravitate towards bright patterns and fabrics. I also found inspiration for a few summer DIY activities. Let me know if you have a favorite find!

I want to hunt down this blanket and have a picnic at my local park. The chevron print and salmon pink color are modern and fun compared to the traditional red and white picnic blanket.

I can invision reading a book on a lazy summer day right in this spot. The use of two ottomans as a coffee table add to the relaxed vibe of the room. If I could afford it, I would place fresh flowers in my home everyday.

Everyone by now has tasted or at least heard of cake pops. I found an interesting take on the trend- smores pops! Smores are the quintessential summertime snack. By blending this old tradition with a new trend, the smores pop was born. Smores are a personal favorite of mine and I would love to try this recipe.

I love everything about this bathroom. From the colorblocking to the accents of colors surrounding the tub, the bathroom looks luxurious. The combination of pink and orange is a huge trend this season. The addition of the rich emerald green creates a new twist and combines well with the other colors.

Thiss DIY hand painted silverware set would be perfect for outdoor barbecues and dinners. The possibilities of shapes and colors is endless!

Tea lights were placed in metal kitchen spoons to create unique candle holders. These candles could be that perfect rustic accent for another summer outdoor party or patio.

These curtains were dip dyed with pink to create the popular ombre effect. As a huge fan of all things ombre, I would place the curtains in my bedroom with a color to match my scheme.
