Color Fabulous: A Room In Bloom
Imani used to think florals were for old and dated homes. What about you, are florals a yes or no?
As of late, I have been really drawn to floral prints. While my tendency towards loud, bright prints is nothing new, a new adoration for floral is.
I used to associate floral in the home with old ladies and old dated looking homes. However, I have come to realize that florals can be a fresh and modern aesthetic. To keep the look modern I’m a big fan of using larger scaled prints such as peonies and hydrangeas.
If you prefer smaller prints, they work well for pillows or updating chair cushions.
Thanks to the ever-useful Pinterest i’ve found some pieces that I think give floral prints a fresh new look.
Would you use floral in your interiors, if so large or small scale?
