Lifestyle: Wines, How do you store yours?

Lifestyle mondays

I am a novice when it comes to wine.

I’ve gone to a few wine tastings over the years, sat in on a class at my local wine retailer, read “Wine for dummies” and other books, and I’ve even hosted a wine tasting or two.

What I’ve learned is that wine is a very personal experience and that no matter what the cost.. or write up…..you simply like what you like.

I purchase wines by recommendations, my favorite grape, cellar, and type of food I’m eating.

It’s a delightful experience to see what type of journey your taste buds will go on with each new wine discovery.

Just yesterday, I was up for something new in a Viognier or Sauvignon Blanc under $20. Here is what was recommended.

The Rosemblum for it’s medium body with complex characters that begin with tropical fruit and ends with a crisp citrus finish.  And the Joel Gott, for it’s refreshing lemony/mineral nature, to pair well with salads, and seafood.

Joel Gott 2011 Sauvignon Blanc, $7.99 and Rosenblum 2009 Viognier $17.99

So how do you store your wine?  Take a look at these suggestions.  Do click the sources below each photo for more information.
