When you’re faced with a paint project, there are a number a ways you can test paint colors on your walls to see how the color “reads” in natural and artificial light.

My go-to tool is using the 8.51/2 x11 paint sheets from Sherwin Williams paints.

Here’s why:

  • You can “test drive” a color without actually applying the paint to your walls.
  • They are complimentary through your decorator or designer
  • They are easy to transport, are not messy and they’re a good indicator of how your colors will appear in your space.

Then choose your saturations for the level of intensity for your space.
