Every year, Pantone selects it’s featured color of the year. Emerald was chosen for it’s multifaceted qualities as indicated above.

We see it in home decor like textiles, lighting, and home accessories. And of course it’s on the Red CarpetSo How will you Rock the new color of the year? Will you wear it or showcase it in your home?
My recommendations are to add this trendy color in small doses to enhance your space and not overwhelm it. Try:
Pillows and throws
Paint one wall as a focal point..
In fact take advantage of this sale at Sherwin Williams Paints
Add a decorative Vase on a nearby table or mantle
Layer a little color with an Area Rug
Add a touch of green in the kitchen
Will you try the new 2013 color in your home, wear it or both?
Do you need help getting a jump start on a project?
Does the process seem a bit overwhelming?
