Inspiration: Traditional Fall Recipes

Fall is by far my favorite season, and while just about everything is pumpkin flavored it still is good to have a few really good basic recipes on hand.

Hearty White Chili

Hearty White Chili

Great for a gameday or even just a chilly night. My mom used to always either make chili or soup before my brother and I went trick or treated! This recipe has chicken, beans, cumin, and peppers. The perfect thing to warm you up!

Pumpkin Coffee Cake with Brown Sugar Glaze

A great fall brunch item! This recipe isn’t too heavy and would be perfect for Thanksgiving breakfast. Especially if you have visiting relatives! This cake only takes 20 minutes to prep so you won’t be overwhelmed!

Butternut Squash Soup

A velvety butternut squash soup with bacon and apple embodies all the flavors of Fall. Recipe from Fine Cooking, found at www.edamam.com

Fall is the perfect season for soup! It is also jam packed with kids’ activities. With so much going on its hard to eat dinner at the same time everynight. This soup freezes easy and can be made and left on the stove for late eaters!

Fall Harvest Bread

Fall Harvest Bread Recipe (Made with Pumpkin, Squash and Zucchini) #fall #recipes

This bread contains pumpkin, zucchini and squash! It really is a mix of fall flavors in one bread! Give it as a gift or pack it for school lunches!

What’s your favorite fall recipe?
