If you’re a mom you know a little something about
Putting your children’s needs before your own
Receiving the best hugs in the world
Celebrating accomplishments and encouraging setbacks
But you probably don’t know about crushes, or first dates,
or why the guy didn’t call or the girl didn’t like you…..
because you’re ancient, and don’t have a clue what its like to be young…
If you’re a mom, you’ve never heard phrases like “Aint nobody got time for that”
or “That’s sick!”…
You only know phrases like “Right-on” and “Good grief!”
If you’re a mom, it’s become crystal clear to you why your mom kept saying, “wait til you have kids” you’ll see….
It’s true,
Because what I see is that being a mom is the hardest, job on the planet
And it’s not for sissy’s….
But it’s also the most fulfilling and gratifying job ever, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
