I’ve been working on a few projects that are coming together.  While they look N-I-C-E, they are in need of the “wow” factor.

One way to create the “wow” is through stunning pieces of art.

Ordinary rooms become so much more with the right piece of art.

So how do you choose the right piece(s) of art?

1.  Go with something that speaks to you.

2.  Choose large for impact and drama 

3.  or create a wow factor with vignettes that tie a common theme together.

4.  Distribute colors around the room and use images that create movement for added interest.

5.   Don’t be afraid to use bold saturated colors against subtle neutral walls.  

6.  Or subtle pastels to pop against deep saturated hues.

7.  Juxtapositions are great for creating visual interest.

8. Use vertical orientations to lengthen walls.

9.  And horizontal orientations to widen walls.

10. Keep frames in the same color family if creating a vignette.

11. Place art strategically in rooms to create stunning focal points.  

12. Choose art based on how you want the space to “feel”. 

13.  Hang art both indoors and outdoors….tks to modern technologies.Where’s the most unusual place you’ve placed art?
