This week it’s Lodge living.

Lodge living117 fireplace

Can you hear the fireplace crackling?  Since the weather is changing and the leaves are a showing off their gorgeous hues….Lodge living is the inspiration for this weeks post.

So much of this style is nature inspired. You can even get a little carried away in the theme, so it’s best to be conservative and not overdo it 🙂

Here’s what you’ll find:

Use of salvaged items, like stone and wood (think cozy stone fireplaces)

Decorate using indigenous items, rustic items, bold items, handcrafted items, twig furniture, antlers, fishing poles, carved fish, landscapes,  and oriental rugs.
