As for today’s post, lets look at Getting Chic….Shabby Chic that is!

This style has an unmistakable relaxed, airy, unstructured vibe.

Worn aged pieces are prevalent in this aesthetic, which lends itself to a vintage sensibility.

This design style is great for relaxing lake/beach homes ,or for someone who likes to incorporate a bit of old with the new in a laid back manner.

There is an effortless sophistication when a beautiful chandelier is added to a space with slipcovered sofas and aged well worn finishes.

Slipcovered sofas are common, accented with fabrics in Toiles, gingham, florals and Linens.

You’ll see Softer pastel colors, and white wash finishes. Today’s rustic trend fits in well with this style.

The shabby chic style presents itself with character, and an unfussy, eclectic approach.

Great flea market finds can add the right touch or “flava” to this unique style.

Sometimes all you need is an update or REFRESH.
