The sun is shining and the buds are blooming, ooh la la! I took a few pics of the budding trees in the backyard. I can’t wait until they fill in completely!

1. Recover old cushions – Investing in a new outdoor set, may not be necessary. There are some gorgeous fabrics available that can stand up against the elements. Look for the Sunbrella brand. Just dust off your sewing machine and get started. Okay, okay….”Ain’t nobody got time for that” right? If you reach out to your local seamstress or upholstery shop, they can make these in no time flat.
2. Replace or purchase a new outdoor rug. The wind, sun and rain can wreak havoc on them over time. Selections and durability are getting better and they’re more affordable than indoor versions. We even have some cool choices at our online shop.
3. Update the typical side tables. Garden Stools are great for adding a pop of color, extra seating and setting your drinks on.
4. Need privacy? Outdoor curtains will up the cozy-factor and keep inquisitive neighbors at bay. I like the ones from Grandin road.
