Sundays with Ydp: living room design concept
I’m putting a concept together for a living room design. The color scheme is analogous and offers smooth transitions between rooms.
I wanted to keep things simple but add drama with this striped area rug and deep accent wall color.
2 round ottomans are added to vary the lines in the space. They are great to serve snacks or provide extra seating for guests.
The deep accent wall adds depth to the space and creates an immediate focal point when you enter the room.
Design Tip of the Week
When designing, make sure your spaces provide functionality. Is there a place to set beverages or snacks?
Is there adequate seating for entertaining? Is the lighting sufficient?
