Pink for the holidays? Why not!
Happy Sunday everyone. Are you feeling the pressure yet? We are about 42 days away from Christmas. Say what??
Every year I have the same reaction of surprise. You’d think I’d get used to it by now. I mean, it’s not as if the date changes.
Each holiday season, I look for new twists on an old theme in my holiday decor. Sometimes it’s choosing a different color scheme, a new craft or simply choosing new coordinating gift wrap.
I was recently at Michaels craft store and found an entire row of PINK holiday decor. Pink wouldn’t be my first choice for holiday decorating, but then again, why not?
Pink for holiday decor
Here are 9 great reasons why PINK would be lovely for your holiday decor
- Pink is a great choice if you are a “color outside the lines” kinda girl or guy. You like to go against the grain and love things that are unique.
- Pink is a great choice if you are a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, and want to give a nod to the sisterhood. Pink looks fab on a GREEN tree too (wink wink).
- Pink is a great choice if you want to design with a GLAM motif. I mean look at the shimmer on those pillows.
- Pink is a great choice in holiday bulbs because you can re use them for your Easter decor.
- Pink is a great choice if you simply want to add a feminine touch to a room.
- Make a pink wreath for your door or grab this one (we found on Etsy)
7. Add pink pillows to your decor or a pair of pink decorative boxes, ideal for coffee tables, styling book shelves or
inserting jewelry. Both are available at our online shop.
8. Glam up your fireplace or front door with a Pink swag. Talk about making a statement 🙂 We found this one on the Wayfair site
9. These adorable cards and postage from minted have just the right touch of pink and are a great way of saying happy holidays.
Will you try pink this holiday season? If so; How will you use it?
