FIRST TIME HOMEOWNERS GUIDE TO CREATING A SPACE YOU LOVE
Now that you’ve purchased your first home, what are your next steps?
I can remember our very first home purchase as if it were yesterday. We were so excited to leave the renters community to become first time homeowners and we couldn’t wait to exercise our right to add as much color and creativity as we wanted. No more white walls was something to celebrate.
There was one little caveat though, we weren’t sure where to begin or what we needed to make our house a home. Should we buy a sofa and loveseat or 2 sofas. Should we purchase a sofa with two chairs or a sectional? Should we seek help? Who should we call? How do we determine the right scale in furnishings? How much time and money should we invest in creating a functional and liveable space? Should we contact A designer, electrician, painter, color consultant, flooring specialist, wallpaper expert or should we be DIY’ers? How valuable is our spare time? Should we just get er done or do the project in stages? And the list goes on and on and on and on and….you get my point.
The good news is, we can help you answer some of these questions. we have a few tools to guide you through the process whether you seek professional help or choose to do it yourself.
