Lighting: Go for the wow factor or try something new
Lighting is important in a design plan for so many reasons. We often think of the practical side of lighting as a way to see in our spaces.
How many of us would be tripping over things or bumping into walls without this fascinating and essential thing we call light?
As a super clumsy human, I trip over things in the daylight, so I can’t even imagine life without good lighting. Don’t laugh, I know I’m not the only one lol!!!
In this post, I want to emphasize how overhead lighting choices can have a significant and beautiful impact in your home. This post is simply to inspire you in some way to try something new.

Design tip:
We want to challenge you to step outside of your comfort zone when choosing lighting fixtures, if you like small, go bigger, if you prefer grand, go grander, if you like rustic, try an elegant option. The idea is to change it up. I bet you’ll discover a few gorgeous additions to your home, worthy of oohs and ahhhs from each guest that visits.
These are just a few considerations for projects I’m currently working on. The collection on the left are for a dining room and the one on the right, a walk in closet.
