Hi friends!

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, so many of you are gearing up for entertaining family and friends.

We just finished a dining room refresh in Blue Ash Ohio and love how the changes elevated the room.

It’s actually phase two for this Blue Ash family.

You might remember their master bedroom from phase one And the blog post

The First step

Is always to measure the space and identify the best layout for the room

Step 2 includes providing visual clarity for the space

Concept boards bring visual clarity to each project.  We use 2D and 3D images, combined with inspiration photos, fabrics, rug, wallpaper and finish samples, to help bring the ideas and concepts to life.

In this case, our  3D conceptual design helped to communicate our design plan for the dining room.

It included the following:

  • Paint ceiling with Sherwin Williams naval 6244
  • Replace the chandelier
  • Add Custom drapery panels and wallpaper
  • Source a New table
  • Source a custom Settee in a neutral fabric (pet/kid friendly)
  • Source Custom Parson chairs with punctuation of color (pet/kid friendly)
  • Source new custom bench to harmonize with wood finish of table
  • Source Area rug by Surya

Step 3 Approval and execution of the design plan

After deciding on our direction, we begin sourcing items, fabricating custom elements and scheduling contractors for installations, all to see it completed on time and within the designated budget.

Each detail is strategically chosen. From the drapery fabric and trim selection to the black nickel finish on the drapery rods. All for aesthetic harmony and wow moments.

The chandelier was a favorite addition along with the “never have to water” flowers for the centerpiece.

We wanted to create a space that commanded your attention, since it’s the first room you see (from the foyer).  The dark SW Naval on the ceiling, rug beneath the table and deep blue accents, helped us to do just that.

Our wallpaper selection and drapery trim creates a pattern play that works well together.

Overall the balance of wood tones, painted white trim and infusion of blue accents (their fav color) created a space our clients feel proud of.

In fact I’ve learned that Thanksgiving dinner will be served in the new space this year.  Can we get a woot woot! We are Thankful we were chosen to be apart of the project.

So what did the room look like before?

Here’s a glimpse
