Inspiration: Marta’s art
Facebook has a way of reuniting old friends, and I was so happy when I reconnected with my friend Marta about a year ago. Prior to that, I believe it had been 18 years since we lost touch.
Meet Marta
About a month ago, I contacted Marta (prior to landing at the BWI airport), hoping to share a cup of coffee between travel plans. To make a long story short, our quick coffee, turned into lunch, meeting her lovely family, chatting over dinner, wine and not leaving until the next morning.
During my visit, I discovered something about Marta that I never knew, she is amazingly creative and very spiritual! There was so much inspiration in her home!
Well, I was thrilled when she agreed to let me share some of her art with you.

“I am inspired by the beauty I see in Nature all around us, moving in harmony”.
“I am amazed at how each and every living thing has been created so perfectly for its purpose”.

Understanding Grace
Marta has given this as a gift many times. Her intention here was to capture the essence of the subject without the distraction of a face or identity in the physical. This represents a deep spritual connection.
The praying lady is called ” Hope’s Well.” The well signifies sustenance for the spirit.
This is an abstract interpretation. I love her use of colors!
