How to trick your senses into thinking your faux tree is the real thing

When we don’t, I really miss the natural scent of a fresh cut tree. I l-o-v-e the aroma so much, that i find myself wanting to duplicate or remanufacture the smell.  

Here are 5 great options for tricking your senses into thinking you’ve got the real thing. 

1. The Yankee Candle brand puts out some great options.  Here’s a room spray and Scented Christmas Icicles that hang on the branches.

2. Here is Wal-mart’s version (Scentsicles scented ornaments)xmas tree scent- walmart

3. Claire burke makes convenient scented plug-ins that allow the wonderful scent to waft through the air.
4. Clean your countertops with Meyer’s seasonal scented spray

5. Try adding fresh cut garland to a faux tree for it’s natural scent and added girth.
6. Try your hand at making your very own essential oils recipe with blogger Maria’s self recipe.

7. Other options to try: Potpourri, pine scented candles, and incense
As you know, even when you have the real thing, the scent doesn’t stay for long. These tips will help extend that fresh cut smell so much longer.
