How to Wednesday: Printcopia is what’s up!

I was approached by the Printcopia brand earlier this month to check out one of their products.

I was excited to do so because I knew it would fit perfectly with this week’s theme “Making art personal”.

I took this photograph some months ago and wanted to do something unique with it.  I fell in love with the colors, they just sort of spoke to me for some reason.

The purple tones and icy blues (which are adjacent to each other on the color wheel) scream harmony, while flecks of gray and deep charcoal add depth to the image.

I also love how the chartreuse, topaz and tangerine tones peep out from the cooler hues so vividly.

I liked this image so much, that I wanted to do something special with it. That’s where Printcopia came in.

Out of many options, I chose to have my photo printed on a gallery wrapped canvas.

Here’s how it turned out

It’s important to provide the best quality image possible, for the best results.  While they do offer image enhancement services (for an additional fee) this image was not enhanced.

Overall, I was very pleased with the quality, turnaround time and options available for sizes and styles.

The process was as easy as 1, 2, 3,4.

1. I uploaded the image,
2. Chose my size ( 8 x 8)
3. Chose my canvas thickness and style
4. And within a couple of weeks it was delivered to my door.

It’s a fantastic way of adding a personalized touch to your home decor.

My only dilemma now is trying to figure out where to place it in my home

For now, I’m testing it on the fireplace mantel

The 8 x 8 size is quite small and would look best in a grouping of 3 or 5 in a vertical or   horizontal presentation.
