Monday Inspiration: A boys room gets a refresh

When you give a teenager creative license to design their room, it may look like this

1. There may be one to several (magazine pics) of sports figures on the wall

2. The mattress will be on the floor….cuz it’s kool!

3. And the room will smell of stinky socks and sports gear

But after a year or so, the parents usually can’t take it anymore, and surprisingly, nor can the kid. 

At some point there needs to be an interior design intervention.  Sorta like this one.

The above room will move from early american dorm room, to…. not too shabby chic.
