Mothernature is a profound and prolific resource for design inspiration. All you have to do is walk outside and be open to the possibilities that she brings.

Grab a camera and let your imagine soar. Look for sunrises, sunsets, shapes colors, textures, and patterns. Look for variations in colors between rocks and soil, lakes, rivers and beaches.

Once you are armed with her inspiration, decide what you will do with it.

1. Create a color palette for one room or many in your home.

2. Create a collage from photos you’ve taken, or enlarge your favorite, to create a unique and original focal point.

3. Collect small pebbles or rocks (scrub them clean)to place in a shallow bowl, then add candles for an organic tabletop accessory.  You can also hot glue them to a photo frame to create textural and visual interest.

4. Collect driftwood from fallen branches to create a show stopping art project like this one

5.  Dry out a single large piece of driftwood to add character to your coffee table or mantle
