Should Curb Appeal Matter At Night? Landscape lighting can make a difference
We all know how important it is to have nice curb appeal right? You know, making a good impression even before someone enters your home.
Most of us think about adding landscaping, and keeping a nice manicured lawn for daytime appeal.
But What about at night? Should we care? And how can we make a significant difference at night?
My husband and I used to drive up to our property at night to a dark mass of nothing-ness. We don’t have street lights so our lamp post, and the two lights that anchor the garage were all we had.
After putting it off for some time, we decided to bite the bullet and have landscape lighting installed. We love the results and wished we had done it sooner.
So should Curb Appeal Matter At Night?
I think it does
- Lighting casts a wonderful glow and enhances your home’s architectural features
- It often extends the length of time you can spend outside with family and friends (think night time “grillin” on the patio deck)
- It’s a cost effective way to Increases property value
- And at the end of the day your home is easier to find 🙂
