Fall home maintenance, that might need your attention

Beautiful fall has arrived, and with it comes the necessity to get your house in order!

Mine is no exception, if fact, my house has been screaming, “Give me some love”….”Right now”!

The inspiration for this week’s posts began with a reminder call from our heating and cooling company to schedule our  fall maintenance appointment.

Like a domino effect, this got me on track to address other areas of the house that needed my attention.

So after a quick stroll around the house, instead of ignoring the issues at hand, (I’m a busy woman-don’t judge me!)I started to address them.

Here are the items I found that were vying for my attention.

1. Crown molding settlement issue

2. Wallpaper repair issue

3. Stack and cover summer furniture for season

4.   Paver settlement issue

5.  Transfer tropical plants indoors

6. Close pool for season

7. Steam clean carpet

8. Repair and paint hole in wall

9. Clean lint from dryer hose

10. Check smoke detectors

11. Tighten drawer pulls

12. Re caulk areas in bathroom

13. Clean deep freezer

14. Update bedding, pillows and throws

15. Organize kitchen cabinets and junk drawers

16. Winterize irrigation system

17. Descale coffee maker

18. Donate excess items in storage

19.  Aerate lawn

20. Paint family room

Whew!!!!
