This week Lets get traditional
Much of this design aesthetic is inspired by European influences. You’ll find cherry and mahogany woods, curved backs and rolled arms, oriental rugs, upholstered and leather furnishings.
You’ll also see formal window treatments and symmetrical layouts.
Traditional Inspiration board
The inspiration board below shows just one way that this traditional style can be updated.
We have given the sofa an updated look, by adding texture and color through art and accessories.
Transitional pieces like the brass side table, rug, art, lighting and skirted ottoman, help to breath new life into a traditional space. The updated look is more asymmetrical and introduces a pop of color.
