Today was a special day

I’m deviating a bit from my usual posts to acknowledge a special young lady who turned 16 today. Her name is Niyah. It is a blessing to have such a wonderful daughter who is not only beautiful inside as well as outside, but is also a smart and loving person.

She celebrated with her friends over the weekend, and enjoyed time with the family after school today. I’m pretty sure she blogged about it on her blog over at inexpensivechic.com. So there is where you’ll find the details.

I just wanted to give her the spotlight over here as a way of letting her know how important she is to me and her dad. I will resume blogging about decor on tomorrow. See you then.
