Sundays with Ydp: Plaid is classic, charming and oh so popular
Plaid
I just enjoyed the day with my daughter. Apparently, she had a break from her studies and wanted to know what we were up to. Really? You mean you want to come home and spend time with your parents and your brother? We were flattered and a little shocked, since miss independent actually thought of us.
It was a good day! She and I started the day getting mani-pedi’s, and then caught up with the family for a matinee (“The intern”) which was hilarious by the way!!! We then ended our evening over dinner at a seafood restaurant (her fav). By the end of the night we were all spent, done, fried, wiped out, full and ready to chill.
What caught my eye throughout the day was plaid. Yep, plaid. It’s everywhere!
And of course whatever is trending in fashion, is usually found in home decor and accessories.
Plaid is one of those fabrics that you either love or hate. For some reason classic Ralph Lauren comes to mind when I think of plaid. In my view, it’s ideal for a cozy cottage in the woods, or lakeside with a crackling fire burning nearby. I think of fall leaves and a crisp chill in the air.
