sundays-with-YdpThe new year is in full swing and so is the anticipation of the 2016 spring color collection.

Pantone is back again with the top 10 colors for Spring 2016. This season, inspiration was taken from the beauty of natural resources evoking a feeling of tranquility and relaxation. Think: Rose Quartz, Peach Echo, Serenity, Limpet Shell, Lilac Grey, and Iced Coffee (as shown below). But it doesn’t stop there. Vibrant colors follow, giving off a vibe of curiosity and exploration, as shown by Snorkel Blue, Buttercup, Fiesta, and Green Flash. Below we show you how to incorporate this palette effortlessly into your home.

1. A vibrant couch will do the trick. This serves as your focal point, but the neutral rug, and softer colors balance the space so it still feels like home.

3. Pack your office space with punch without it being obvious. Try starting with your bookcase. Create DIY book covers that incorporate the colors, add some flowers, and whatever other trinkets you can find, to give dimension to the space. Don’t be afraid to play with print and pattern!
