That’s why we’re giving a shout out to 50 of our favorite black owned businesses in celebration of Black History Month. Below you’ll find everything from pillows to cookies, consulting, to yoga mats. Just click to shop! In addition, throughout the rest of this month, we’ll select our top 10 within this list to give a more detailed review. So be sure to check back in the next couple of days. 14. Alana Paints Everythin After seeing a lack of women of color in the art and media she saw when growing up, Alana now paints and draws just that.

15. Nikki’s Groove by Nicholle Kobi She’s one of our favorite fashion illustrators at YDP! Check out her Instagram.

16. Arekah the Goddess Photography Editorial photographer located in Memphis, Tennessee.

17. Coco Jane Photography Natural light photographer located in Dayton, Ohio. She does senior pictures, weddings, and fashion photography.

21. Asafo African Market A grocery store located in Cincinnati that sells African food and spices.

22. Veggio Cookies Delcious cookies that are also good for you. They feature organic and all natural ingredients.

23. Island Frydays Jamaican cuisine located in Cincinnati with to-die-for jerk chicken!
