Welcome 2017 Happy prosperous new year
Welcome 2017! We’ve been waiting for you. While 2016 proved to be a year of new learnings, taking risks, building new relationships or discontinuing some that may not have served us well, 2017 is brand new, and primed for possibility.
I’m so thankful for all of the referrals and leads from friends and for our new contributing writers. I am also
thankful for my team who helped me install counter tops, paint, knock out walls, hang window treatments and show up on time. I’m Thankful to my hubby for being patient while I ordered one more item, or double checked one more detail during our “Us” time.
There’s no question that the almighty answered my prayers when I needed to know that I could make this business work on a full time basis. Well, all I can say is God is good, all the time.
One of the things that I look forward to each year, is spending time with a wonderful group of friends. Friends who have become family. It’s a beautiful thing to do life with genuine people. We move from serious intellectual moments, to games, and downright silliness, all in the name of fun.
We’ve had a different theme for the past three years. This years’ theme was a PJ party. We hung out in our pj’s, cooked and ate in our pj’s and just had a blast.
And the food is always so good! Each family shares in the meal prep which keeps things interesting. This was our breakfast buffet on the final day of their visit. Baked french toast, turkey bacon, fresh fruit, and a zucchini, mushroom, and tomato frittata.
I am looking forward to the new year and hope that each and everyone reading this post will have a wonderful, prosperous, healthy, fulfilling 2017.
