Holiday To Everyday – Ways To Extend Your Holiday Decorations
Are we ever ready for the holidays to end? Most of us love
the decorations and the sparkle that the holidays seem to bring yet after
January 1, all of those beautiful decorations are set to come down.
I disagree with this. Why must the allure of holiday decorations be packed away just
because the month has changed?
That got me (Imani) thinking of ways to maintain the holiday feeling all year round.
Here are some ways to strike the right balance between holiday and everyday.
Take your traditional red flowered holiday centerpieces and make them last all year round by exchanging winter flowers for greener ones. Then, keep the holiday spirit alive with holly sprinkled in the arrangement.
The holiday table is often a focal point in any home around the holiday season. That being said; why not keep it that way all year round. I really like how this table went from a vibrant blue and silver color scheme to a springtime theme of subtle green and white.
Another great Holiday to Every Day table is shown below: Instead of “Christmas Red”, I love how the deep burgundy enhances the table and the ornaments were swapped for birds and budding flowers.
Finally, if you’re not ready to put away the festivities completely, then you can always buy a holiday scented candle and light it whenever you’re in need of some holiday cheer.
How do you feel about extending holiday decorations? Are you likely to take things down after the new year, right after christmas or months later? Come on tell the truth 🙂

I loved the white table with the branches that looked like they had snow. Where did you get these?
