Do you ever wish you could get some quick inspiration for designing your home? Maybe you want to do a floor plan of a room in your home but drawing is not one of your strong points. Or you just really need to find that perfect paint color to match the new chair you bought. Well you’re in the right place. Here are some great interior design apps that solve the problems I mentioned above and more! Even if you aren’t designing your home, these can be fun to use if you have some downtime and just want to browse.

This app is perfect for designing home floor plans. You can select the exact size of whatever room you are designing and then place any kind of furniture of any size wherever you would like. Whether it’s a large sofa or just a barstool, this app allows you to place your furniture to your liking.

This app is simply for inspirational purposes. You can view a variety of interior design images by whichever style you prefer. Browse through the photos for inspiration and show your interior designer what you like.   This can really help them understand your vision and facilitate the process.

ColorSnap- By Sherwin-Williams:

Find the exact Sherwin-Williams paint color you are looking for with this easy-to-use-app. You can save and share your colors, or go right to a Sherwin-Williams store to get the specific colors you want right away.

iHandy Level:

Android

This app is great for anyone,  even if you aren’t designing an entire room.  If you’re hanging pictures this app can be extremely helpful. If no one else is home and you can’t tell if the picture is straight? Use the level bar to double-check.

These apps are generally for the iphone/ipad, but most have either the same or a similar app for android powered phones.
