The combination of green, white and blue sets a refreshing mood in this niche.
Bring a bit of the ocean to your bedroom with colors reminiscent of the sea.
If you want your sofa to take center stage, a bold stripe may be just the ticket.
Here’s an example of what this striped fabric would look like on this traditional wing back chair. With custom upholstery you have so much flexibility. Instead of covering the entire chair and ottoman in the same fabric. This could be a solid and stripe, or two types of materials like a leather and fabric.
Imagine this chair with a new fabric. Should it be Bold, subtle or somewhere in-between?
Sometimes, I prefer horizontal stripes to a vertical ones as they can give the appearance of a wider space. If you have high ceilings already, try going for horizontal stripes.
Create your own stripes and arrange them as you wish. I found this image on the Houzz site and just love it’s simplicity, yet great impact. I’d love to re create this look using metals or wood.
Are stripes for you? Did you choose the bold, subtle or in-between stripe?
