While I usually lack inspiration from nature, I find myself being highly influenced by the gorgeous weather.

Summertime is always talked about for its blossoming flowers and outdoor sports, but what about the greenery that surrounds the flower or the grass the sports are played on? And of course I can’t forget about my favorite green display of the season which…… is sea-foam green!

As a resident of Chicago our beach exposure comes from Lake Michigan and while the water isn’t the clear blue we see on the coast, the sea-foam green color still screams summertime fun.
Here’s how incorporate greens into the home that will make your friends “green with envy” (sorry I couldn’t resist). Enjoy!

Try an easy DIY project like this one.  I love this chest because it is so easy to duplicate. Go to your local flea market and find a chest for cheap and paint it green. LOVE!
