Saying Good-bye

Imani, Caitlin, Marissa, This post is for you.

So How do you say Good-bye to your your star interns? The ones who stuck with you, even though the semester ended two months ago and they’re supposed to be on summer break.

The ones who have delivered consistent, well developed blog content for the past year, developed a marketing plan for our DIY product, designed promotional items, assisted with social media and newsletters.

The ones who you’ve learned so much from.

The ones who you’ll miss.

You say it reluctantly, emotionally, gracefully and you wish them well!

These young ladies are on the fast track to success.  They are enterprising, creative, smart, beautiful, worldly, ambitious, and they (already) have an incredible work ethic!

All I can say is look out world!

Imani, Caitlin, and Marissa……………….Thank you!  I will miss you guys.  You set the bar high for future interns.

    I was just reminiscing about blogging for YDP and I came across this post. Sorry i’m so late, but THANK YOU RICCI! I talk about my time with YDP in all my interviews! Such a great experience 🙂
