Our Current Obsession: Affordable “finds” from Kirklands

I really enjoy creating idea boards from the Olioboard website. Just  recently, I discovered that you can create these boards by name brand, which makes shopping for items you love a whole lot easier.  I found a few brands that range from affordable finds to higher end selections.  So the next few Saturdays I’ll spot light an idea board from each category.  You’ll also get links that will take you to the site for pricing!

Got a Kirklands nearby?   You’ll find these affordable finds there if you do!  The warm tones in the print captivated my attention. I am drawn to abstracts for some reason and I love warm tones.  I thought the pillows and urn would provide a nice complement to the art.  If you choose to freshen up the wall color in the room….kirklands

Try Anjou pear to visually warm up the room.  Add depth using the rural green, and copper red for just the right punch (in your accent pieces).  I also love this new chipit app.  You might remember a  post I did recently talking about how cool it is. As you can see you can use a range of color choices (both cool and warm) to bring the mood of a room together.  Another great color palette would be to use the extra white, gray shingle and grand canal.
