That’s Pinterest-ing! Get Creative with Candy

Food shopping the other day, put me in a creative zone and inspired this post.
As I’m perusing the store, Valentines day candy was everywhere, and It put me in an instant Valentines Day mood, suddenly my creative juices where on steroids.
I began associating the food with quirky sweetheart messages. Here’s what I mean:
Peanuts….I’m nuts over you
Sugar……I’m sweet on you
Eggs…..You’re such an eggs-cellent hubby, lover, friend, dad, partner
Honey…..I’m glad you’re my honey
Candy fish….of all the fish in the sea, you chose me
Then when I came to the candy aisle…..I really got carried away!
I love our bliss-ful moments
You are a Good man and that suits me Plenty
Your Kiss is magic
Your Hugs are the best
You’re my Hot tamale
You’ve got my Heart
You’re a blessing to me Now and I look forward to our future Later
Okay so some are a little sappy, but you get the message.
I was on a roll and I couldn’t stop!
Here’s to hoping you find some inspiration in these little messages to create some of your own.
Since I was in the Valentines Day Spirit. I thought of a cool project to do with pillow cases. So I bought 2, along with some fabric paint and created this.
I call it a “HEART TO HEART” pillow to encourage pillow talks, or heart to hearts, or to introduce the dreadful “honey we need to talk” moment, you know the one that makes our men want to run the other way?
And here’s how it looked on the bed
Bring your favorite bubbly and chocolate dipped strawberries to the conversation and the “heart to heart” just might go more smoothly. 🙂
